Very short of staff. Waited nearly an hour for our food. Cold when it came. Haven't been here for a long time. Was hoping that it had improved. It hasn't. Only came here because it was the nearest to where we were. But when your side salad is warmer than you hunters chicken. You know it will be your last visit. Also very short on beers. No vegetarian selection

Dreadful place. Service was terrible, took note of the "Wait to be seated" sign and waited 10 minutes for no one to come. Ordered a Mixed Grill rare which came out without sausages because "They're still frozen, we didn't want your steak to be overcooked" the steak was well done regardless. The sausages came some 15 minutes after my actual food, overcooked in a deep fat fryer (not grilled!) Had ordered a dessert 2 biscoff sundaes, took 30 minutes to come out and when they did they weren't anything like described on the Menu. Would have drawn this to the staff's attention, but they were nowhere to be seen on a Friday evening no less! Genuinely an awful place to eat. I gave it 2 stars for atmosphere as the kids there seemed to be having fun. But seriously, the food was dreadful - save yourself the bother and go McDonalds drive thru up the road, at least you'll get what you asked for.

We visited after their main lunch service. We had hoped to have tea with cake/biscuits or dessert. There was a very, very limited selection of items available, further limited by our guest being coeliac and unable to eat anything containing gluten. Eventually, the waitress/server found some gluten free bakewell tart and served it with some gluten free ice cream to go with our pot of tea. Thank you.

I have been going to Redwood Farm since it opened. I have found that RF has fallen into the same trap as many restaurants do, especially those that offer a carvery. When they first opened, it was amazing. The service was spot on, food amazing and fantastic atmosphere. Now the service is slow to non-existant, the food is middling and it needs structure to get that atmosphere back. When we arrived, we had to wait a couple minutes to be seated, no issue. We put in our orders, and after about 20 minutes we went to the bar to check on our drinks only to find that our drinks had been made a while ago and were sat on the bar. The carvery was once a great selection of vegetables and tasty meats. Now it is dry (I assume after being under the hot lamps for a while). The food still tastes good with some amazing gems on the menu, but the portion sizes have gone down (still a decent portion, but for those who remember what it was like before it can seem disappointing). Although presentation doesn't necessarily make the food taste better, it was lacking. When our order was brought to us, there were missing elements we had to wait again for. The desserts are now printed pictures stuck onto the cake display, although I did enjoy that they were pre-packaged to takeaway. When we first arrived, it was pretty quiet and definitely picked up while we were there.there was an almost constant queue for the bar that had no rhyme or reason to it and no guidance on where to order takeaway desserts. I know I sound like I'm just moaning, but I really did love Redwood Farm back in the day.

Had a lovely evening, was a long wait because it was very busy and staff did their best. Josh gave us excellent service and went out of his way to help us. Even helping get us some milk for our toddler. The other young lady on the tills was also incredibly polite and friendly but I didn't get her name. :) Also shout out for having gluten free options!!

After told there was a 30 minute wait for food, was still waiting for meal after 1 hour. No cutlery on table and when requested was brought out by server who handel the cutlery by the end with which you eat. Tables filled with dirty dishes, bar area not clean. Customer service was not in evidence. Would say that it has gone down hill since my previous visit which is a shame as it used to be very good. Would not recommend after tonight's visit

Brought four disabled clients for breakfast today, 21st February. We arrived about 10.30. we ordered mugs of tea, only to find the flask for water had cold water in! Requested hot water-- there was no e- they said they had problems. Hardly any staff available. Had to request bread for toast. Food was so cold , we had to return it twice to have it re- heated!! This was not staff's fault, but very, very disappointing for the clients we brought in for a treat! Shall not rush here again --- what a shame you have gone downhill !
